PFI Executives read over 40 University studies on how to reduce diesel consumption while reducing GHG from 20% to 60% in all GHG categories.

About

The technology works by chemically advancing the ignition timing and adsorbing and releasing oxygen in-cylinder during the combustion process to control oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and extending the duration of fuel burn to reduce particulates (PM) and unburnt hydrocarbons. No electrical, electronic, or mechanical changes are required in order for the engine to be able to use nanO2. Improvements in fuel consumption and reductions in criteria pollutants in the engine exhaust occur in all two- and four-cycle diesel, naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines, meeting EPA Tier 0 thru Tier 4 and their international equivalents, regardless of the sulfur content in the fuel. The catalyst works with all diesel fuels, biodiesel fuels, Marine Gas Oil, LSFO, military fuels (such as JP-8/F-24), and their derivatives that meet internationally recognized diesel fuel standards.

Key Benefits

Use of nanO2 doesn’t require any physical modification to the engine. It is a liquid additive that is blended into diesel or other fuels at the point of storage, at the point of fueling of the individual piece of equipment or into the fuel lines as fuel is consumed, depending on the specific customer’s preference and logistics arrangements. Generally, blending of the additive earlier in the process is more economical than doing so later in the process. NanO2 is currently blended at a rate of 1:750 in the fuel. The actual dilution rates could vary if we were to custom configure our product to meet a customer’s fuel specifications at a given location
