RE-EXPAR is a DNA amplification technology developed by Linear Diagnostics Ltd that can detect bacterial pathogens in

About

Linear Diagnostics is a spinout of the University of Birmingham UK, based in Birmingham. Our technology was developed in-house and is patent protected.

Key Benefits

RE-EXPAR amplifies short sections of DNA isothermally. This makes the amplification cycle extremely rapid and allows DNA molecular test accuracy on a lateral flow device timescale (15 min).

Applications

Our technology is designed for Point-Of-Care (POC) diagnostics where the need for rapid detection is most acute. We have developed tests for STIs and a number of other bacterial diseases. The technology is easily adapted and simple to multiplex.
