Northfork has developed an industry-leading set of APIs, SDKs and widgets that enhance the recipe experience at every step, primarily by allowing customers to seamlessly shop groceries directly from recipe content. The three main steps are Discover, Plan, Purchase (and then cook!). DISCOVER | We support recipe classification and discovery by handling extensive metadata and can edit recipes based on real-world products (swapping chicken for turkey or spaghetti for courgetti). By understanding the link between products and recipes, we provide recipes that can be cooked with products already in a customer's home, saving them time and money. PLAN | When building a plan for the week, users should be aware of how much they are spending. Northfork integrates directly with the retailer's assortment, and shows live availability and prices - we can even filter by recipes that are fully available in-store. As users add multiple recipes, the products selected are constantly recalculated to ensure the best value and least waste. If users want to make changes in brands or products, that is all handled from within the content. PURCHASE | When a customer is ready to purchase, they know that the products they have chosen are in stock and at what price - they are redirected to the retailer directly (not interacting with Northfork at all) where their filled basket is ready to checkout. All throughout the experience, we support personalisation based on which recipes users are interacting with and how they're purchasing, ensuring relevancy and re-engagement at every step.
