About
Artugas is a unique, patent protected easy to install and universal dual-fuel retrofitting technology for diesel common-rail engines, to use a unique mix of Diesel, LPG/CNG and water vapor instead of diesel fuel. The unique fuel mix increases engine efficiency and significantly reduces consumption of diesel fuel and emissions. Diesel consumption can be reduced up to 70%, replacing it with a LPG/CNG-water vapor mixture, acting as a catalyst in the combustion process. This allows to reduce GHG emissions and air pollution by 70% to 80%. Based on driving tests and CO2e calculations the reduction of CO2e is 50%. The Artugas system is universal and can be used to retrofit all types of diesel common-rail engines. The system consists of the Artugas LPG/CNG and water vapor mixture unit, heated water-tank, power-supply unit and standard gas tank with valves. It is easy to install and it does not require interference to the engine architecture. Artugas has a high level of security functions, however if the system fails, the engine automatically returns to standard operating mode using diesel fuel.

Applications
Artugas is designed specifically for heavy duty vehicles. The usual applications include trucks and transportation, but also agriculture, heavy machinery or other high consumption diesel engine applications with common-rail technology. For light duty vehicles we have developed a specific product (Artusystem), which is ready and currently in pilot customer testing.
