We would like to help the number of miles travelled and the amount of touch points on ePOD devices with broken touch screens. By add a flexible screen protector which would help reduce screen damage when devices are dropped to the ground or sustain and impact.

Current process for replacement devices and devices then been returned for repair. 1.Call to Help desk 2. Device staged by technician and made ready for collection by technical courier 3.Technical courier collects 4. Devices goes through the distribution process and is delivered to the engineer for swap out. 5. Engineer goes to site delivers the replacement device and collects faulty device. 6. Engineer returns faulty device through distribution process back to supplier. 7.Device arrives back with supplier 10. Device is then goes through the QC process and if their is damage or needs repair this is then returned to our repair centre. 11. Device is shipped for repair to have the screen replaced 12. Devices is then shipped back to Peak-Ryzex 13. Devices added back to Tarmac dedicated buffer. 60 repairs have been done on screens through out 2019, so this process of people time fuel travelling has been done 60 times. Adding the screen protectors to all devices out in the field would help minimise the carbon footprint for devices reurns.
