Small-scale innovations in pyrolysis and refining to convert problematic plastic waste streams and used oils to high-value fuels

About

We have designed, built and developed small-scale pyrolysis and refinery systems to tackle hydrocarbon waste streams (used motor oils and plastics) to create high-grade low-sulphur fuel oils for use in generators, boilers or in the shipping industry. Transporting waste is the biggest cost in recycling, so we design units fit for purpose to manage waste at source and convert it to valuable products

Key Benefits

Systems are designed to manage the feedstock both in terms of type and volume. Small-scale systems are containerized and modular, reducing initial capital costs and allowing for modular scaling of the project, minimizing risk.

Applications

Any low-value hydrocarbon waste streams (plastics and oils) can be converted to fuels. Mixed waste streams and problematic waste streams (like used oil containers that have HDPE, PP, Aluminium caps and oil) can be converted to fuels used in boilers, generators and large-scale combustion engines.
