Data centers are huge, and have a massive energy footprint globally. With some estimates putting the data center industry at consuming nearly 10% of the world's electricity by 2030. That massive amount of energy presently goes unused. Imagine instead if it were to be used to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, that would result in nearly 5% of the CO2 emitted in 2017 being removed each and every year, by 2050. The industry itself is now moving away from air-cooling, however the present cooling alternatives for the data center have existed since the 1960's and are viewed as risky and unreliable. The industry needs a better solution. With Thermal Rail™ we have developed that solution. Designed to be as safe & reliable as air and meet the mission critical needs of a data center, our cooling solution reduces an average data centers cost by as much as 20% and energy use by 30%. However, more than that. We are in addition developing a means to use the captured waste-heat generated by the data center as the input energy for Direct Air Capture apparatus and we've developed a business model that will allow adopters of the technology to profitably remove CO2 from the atmosphere.
