Our mission is to transform the way cities are designed, built and managed through the creative use of technology and a deep understanding of the science of cities. PROSPECTIVE is a new company yet our work is already being taken up by some of the most important public sector organisations in the UK. We have ambitious plans to extend the use of our technology to a range of industries and coordinate decision making processes in cities. We collate detailed information on macro and micro economic conditions, physical and social infrastructure, built form and development patterns, transport and mobility data, economic activity and market trajectories, public policy, socio-demographics and environmental conditions. We maximise the value of data by combining it into a detailed spatial model of the economy. We apply advanced complex systems modelling and machine learning methods.to measure the interdependencies between urban activities. Our models enable decision makers to explore the impacts of different design, policy, management and investment scenarios across a wide range of performance criteria.
