Our patented leak-free design allows for cleaner, more comfortable delivery of therapeutics, while also preventing drug wastage. Our initial focus is miscarriage prevention & IVF.

About

Approximately 25% of pregnancies end up in miscarriage and for the time from Nov 2021 there's now formal new NICE guidance in the UK announcing vaginally-delivered progesterone as the first-ever medication to help reduce miscarriages. Our device solves the biggest problem with these progesterone suppositories which is leakage / medicine waste. With patents granted in US/Canada/Europe/Japan/Korea/Singapore, our unique device is the evolution of a multi-award winning period care product named one of TIME magazine’s Best Inventions of the Year and backed by a team Fast Company called one of the Most Innovate Companies in the World.

Key Benefits

Unique “leak-free” design allows for cleaner, more comfortable delivery of medicines / hormones with enhanced placement confidence while also preventing wastage. Drawbacks of existing vaginal / rectal delivered drugs: 1) Messy and irritating leakage 2) Positioning and dosage uncertainty 3) ~30 minutes of lying down Benefits of our solution: A) Leakage protection B) Placement confidence C) Comfort & convenience D) Mess-free insertion & removal

Applications

Our initial Initial focus is on helping patients struggling with infertility and their IVF treatment through vaginal delivering of micronised progesterone. This market opportunity significantly expanded: in Nov 2021, ground-breaking new official UK medical guidance was released from NICE: now vaginally delivered progesterone is recommended to reduce miscarriages. >150,000 women p.a. in the UK alone are now covered by this guidance for up to 80 days. Other promising clinical / OTC applications can be considered for our platform: A) In Hormone replacement therapy (HRT), estrogen can be delivered vaginally, but has similar issues to progesterone in terms of leakage / messiness / user experience issues B) OTC potential (Vaginal Candidiasis, Hemorrhoids, etc.) C) Rectal suppositories as a means of protecting certain prescription drugs (and drugs in development) from Phase 2 metabolism
