Ventilation valves that measure indoor air quality and extract polluted air. As 2/3rd of the time rooms are empty, it will only ventilate when there is a need thus saving energy.

About

Most smaller buildings have static ventilation systems. Large systems have recirculation that just ventilates the polluted air back indoors. Some modern buildings have also Variable Air Volume Systems, but due to the high cost, they remain a rarity.

There are so many problems with current ventilation systems:

- Rooms are over-ventilated when no one is present

- Rooms are under-ventilated when more people are present

- Often, modern systems are not installed properly leading to energy loss, over or under-ventilation

- Static ventilation system diffusers are often manually regulated by the users spoiling the balance of the system

- Software-based Building management systems mostly monitor and try to modify settings of heating/cooling/ventilation systems to save energy (mostly by sacrificing indoor air quality), but do not bring any qualitative change. Empty rooms are still ventilated while crowded rooms are often under-ventilated.

- Complicated management systems cost extra and bring more complexity.

- Most Variable Air Volume systems are not retrofittable to existing buildings

Key Benefits

- Ventilation system becomes fully automatic and self-balancing with edge intelligence without the need for expensive central management.

- Energy savings of up to 30% from heating and cooling.

- 2-3 times better indoor air quality.

- Cloud connectivity gives a full overview of the indoor air quality in every room.

- Retrofittable to any building.

- Battery or PoE powered.

- Allows to get more energy savings per spent EUR than competing solutions.

- Two times less maintenance is needed.
