Summary   The Sensorless Adaptive Voltage Positioning (SLAVP) control is a method that allows for Adaptive Voltage Positioning (AVP) for power convertors without current sensing. By eliminating the need for accurate current sensing and high-resolution high-speed Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs), the SLAVP control reduces the size, cost, and power losses from sensing and sampling. The SLAVP simplifies the design and implementation and can therefore be used for a variety of applications and not just for special high-end applications such as powering microprocessors.
