Using Virtual Reality for Life Support training can reduce costs, improve quality of training and increase engagement so more people know how to provide emergency medical help.

About

We have created a virtual reality application for emergency life support training that provides immersive scenario training and tracks depth and speed of CPR chest compressions. The software aids scenario simulation, improves the quality of training and provides measurable performance data. A short demo video can be found here: http://bit.ly/2xD92ev We want to teach as many people as possible how to save lives. Realistic simulation is important to give trainees the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR in an emergency scenario, and virtual reality can provide an excellent way to provide this high level simulation.
