Our products overcome the challenge of detecting sophisticated web attacks amongst the millions of attacks that are being initiated against businesses and governments every day.  Our main differentiators are the use of AI to detect attacks and real-time risk assessment to triage alerts. Security teams are increasingly overwhelmed by the increasing number of cyberattacks.  As such, sophisticated attacks will often go undetected by conventional, signature-based defences. This coupled with a lack of available skilled security analysts, means it is currently a case of when and not if, an attack will be successful. Cyberlytic is a cyber security company with offices in London and Belfast.  Our Profiler product uses machine-learning to prevent web-injection attacks (such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting), which account for around 30% of all attacks. The Profiler detects and prioritises attacks in real-time. Through a patented classification approach, originally developed for the UK Ministry of Defence and GCHQ, our software determines the characteristics of each attack and calculates the information security risk.  Unlike conventional security products, our products do not rely on reactive, hard to manage rules to correlate threat signatures.  Instead, machine learning is used to automatically identify anomalies and classify attacks, providing proactive and continuous protection against web-injection attacks. Our software dramatically reduces the workload of security teams and enables them to focus on the most dangerous attacks; reducing response times to seconds.
