Challenge
Focusing on customers that require migration of their existing digital estate, we need to simplify and accelerate the design, build and configuration of the customer’s target environment.
With growth in the utilisation of ‘Infrastructure as Code’ as a means to build scalable and repeatable platforms, Fujitsu have already invested in developing our Springboard product, that utilises pre-built templates with guardrails in place to simplify and automate landing zone deployment.
Fujitsu are looking for a solution that can assist in the ‘prepare’ stage, which should review the customers’ existing environment, most commonly virtualised using VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V, either through the output from our assessment service or through an inbuilt discovery mechanism and produce an output that can be utilised to reproduce the environment through code e.g. YAML, JSON or ARM templates allowing the deployment into a new environment typically AWS, Azure, GCP or VMware on AWS while applying relevant guardrails and best practices.
In addition, Fujitsu would also like the new environment to be visualised and allow manipulation in order to support minor changes to the code prior to deployment.
