Fujitsu are seeking cost effective SAAS applications which would allow them to extract information from Salesforce, supplement with data from the account teams (as above), or from other 3rd parties like LinkedIn, and ensure that they can tag the CRM record back to the contact in Salesforce - whilst remaining GDPR compliant.

Background

Fujitsu is one of the largest information and communication technology companies in the world and is looking for digital solutions to shape the future of society, together with their customers. Fujitsu ACCELERATOR is a programme for business and technology cooperation to help startups grow and to collaborate with startups to increase engagement in fast-growing markets. 

Fujitsu in Europe has a strategy to be recognised for active collaboration with startups. In Japan Fujitsu is highly regarded and is ranked fifth as a large company that actively collaborates with startups. [Nikkei, electronic edition, June 19, 2019] 

Challenge

Without being cost prohibitive, Fujitsu are seeking SAAS applications which would allow them to extract information from Salesforce, supplement with data from the account teams (as below), or from other 3rd parties like LinkedIn, and ensure that they can tag the CRM record back to the contact in Salesforce - whilst remaining GDPR compliant.

When undertaking stakeholder and relationship management, stakeholder profiling, planning of stakeholder messaging, Fujitsu do not have a repository that allows them to take basic contact information out of SalesForce and then supplement that contact data with the following data fields:

  • Summarised career history
  • Challenger methodology profile
  • Social profile
  • Key influencers / outside industry engagements
  • Corporate KPIs and targets
  • Fujitsu relationship owner
  • Relationship flag and commentary
  • Fujitsu Exec sponsor (where appropriate)
  • Key event attendance 
  • Recent insight from meetings with this stakeholder
  • Flag which shows they are targeted within specific sales initiatives

Without a system or platform, work on stakeholder management is completed on Trello Boards, excel and other non-sustainable / non-transferable applications and there is no API link to and from Salesforce within the current process.
