The R&D Incubator is the NSG Group's hub for partnerships, including academic groups, start-ups, B2B, and consortium projects. It is focussed on the Incubation and Acceleration of start-ups and university groups for glass applications, including architectural, facades, automotive, solar, technical, flakes, and fibers. The Incubator has access to specialised laboratories, pilot lines, and mass production to enable testing and scaleup of nascent technologies, in combination with expertise in glass manufacture. The Incubator sponsors a wide range of academic studies and research projects.
