Expertise
Originally founded in 2012, Foods Connected provides online cloud-based software tools for the food industry alongside supply chain insight, expertise and advisory . Our headquarters are based in Derry, with offices in Belfast, Chicago, and Sydney, and multiple members of our team working remotely in Ireland, the UK, Europe, North America and Australia.
We now have 75 people from all backgrounds including experts from the Food Industry, with a team of Animal Welfare and Sustainability experts, former buyers in large UK retailers, employees with agricultural and food manufacturing backgrounds throughout the Project Management and Commercial teams. We work closely with our clients to provide software solutions, advise on policies and standards, and collect data throughout their supply chains to provide real time accurate information across Supplier/Farm Compliancy, Internal and External Auditing/Checks, CSR, Food Safety and Procurement.
At Foods Connected we work collaboratively with our customers to identify digital gaps within their processes and provide solutions to make repetitive and manual data capture more efficient, effective, and accurate. To systemise time consuming processes, we start by providing supply chain advisory and insight promoting best practise management from procedure through to delivery.
We have also created and continue to develop cloud-based software tools that help companies manage their business process across supply chain, quality management and procurement. Our offering is comprised into two-part software solutions and supply chain insight, expertise and advisory. While this proposal focuses on offering Bord Bia our supply chain insights & expertise, there may be future scope to review how our software solutions can support to digitise and centralise the process.
