Expertise

We have been working with education sites in the UK to bring technology to the classroom and in particular VR technology. We are able to synchronise multiple headsets to the same content and lead them via a teacher device. This gives the teacher full control of content and can lead their students on preexisting and professionally created content. We are then able to empower teachers to create their own content. We have extensive experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students and using VR technology have been able to help a non verbal student to talk as well as lowering anxiety in Autistic (ASD) students using tailored VR photos and videos to introduce them to a change in routine or environment. VR also allows use to screen out over stimulation for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and focus students attention and understanding to the chosen subject. This experience is translating to the workplace as working with SEN students shows us a magnified view of what works for "Nero-typical" people. We are now working on pilot projects for work place training and development particularly in high stress, high anxiety, hazardous, dynamic or complex environments. One of which is looking at alternative patient therapies for patients in the NHS undergoing cardiac surgery as well as training of nurses, registrars and consultants on the environment then will face before they enter a particular theatre and/or operation type for the first time. So many more application and too many to list. VR is about fooling the brain to believe you have been to, or in, that location before. Your brain is then open for learning, as humans are not great analytical learners, but linking emotion, senses and experiences are how we all store and recall information. Our expertise and solutions allows for capture and use of your own VR images by individual with no preexisting IT or photography skill in a low cost, easily accessible approach.
