I am academic with 25 years of experience in the study of the microscopic structure of the electrode-electrolyte interface and how it affects electron transfer. The main motivation of my research is to reach a better understanding of electrochemical energy conversion and storage in order to improve their efficiency. My research is characterised by the combination of electrochemical and in-situ/in-operando non-electrochemical techniques (spectroscopy, high resolution microscopy).
