Started as a firmware embedded engineer @ Intel, and then found the security space when joined fireglass at 2014 as the first core engineer. At 2017 drove the product to a successful acquisition by Symantec, and eventually lead the mobile endpoint security group of Symantec - Broadcom. At the beginning of 2020 co-founded build.security - the authorization platform for developers, making it easy to author, test, distribyte and manage access policies at scale. Integrating with Docker engines, K8S, product APIs, Envoy proxies and others, making it super easy to express RBAC and ABAC policies. Amit also has an MBA degree from the university of Tel Aviv, and a Masters degree in data science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champagne.
