Mirkan Emir Sandžak is a technology entrepreneur, engineer, environmentalist and writer. Sandžak was born to a Serbian family, raised in Turkey, Istanbul. After graduating from ECA Elginkan Anatolian High School at the age of 18, he entered Gebze Technical University Environmental Engineering Department and started working on environmental technologies. His article on algae technologies (GreenTech) received the 500th reference. As a result of his success, he was entitled to receive expertise in Harvard University on Climate Change. After this development, he entered Anadolu University Business Administration Department to prepare himself for the business world. Then, as a result of his success in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, he was entitled to study Entrepreneurship at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, his main focus is to spend a high amount of time on NutzenTech, and he is the co-founder and CEO. NutzenTech is a greentech start-up aiming to deliver data and technology driven B2B & B2G solutions enabling customers to improve their environmental footprint. He founded the Environment Association, his first start-up in 2018, and for the sustainability of the environmental ecosystem, 10,000 trees have been planted so far and 50,000 hungry animals have been saturated; It organizes activities to increase environmental awareness. By transferring his business knowledge acquired in the logistic industry he undertook the position of CEO within another start-up, Qaroco, and a strong team added value to the entrepreneurship ecosystem by investing in a team with a working business plan. In 2019, by laying the foundations of the NutzenTech, starting with the technical partners, he took the seed investment of the enterprise and started the research & development process. He has developed himself in the fields of management, finance, investment, digital marketing expertise, project management (PMP), content production, game design, internet start-up, thanks to his previous experiences in entrepreneurship and business world. He worked as a chief engineer and team leader in the construction of a successful spacecraft prototype (Mars Rover) with a team of 16 within the international community, IEEE PES. Hobbies: reading books, publishing podcasts, writing articles, learning a foreign language (at C2 level on English, German, Bosnian, Serbian), participating in certification programs, discovering new places and writing travel articles.
