Max is Founder & CEO of Worldr, a private, secure and compliant alternative to Slack. Max started his career at the CoinShares Group, as the company’s first employee, helping evolve this company into Europe’s largest digital asset manager, with offices in 5 locations and over $1bn AuM. He also served as an angel investor in an array of early-stage technology companies, developing a keen understanding of best practices across different verticals. Max focuses on sales & partnerships focus but has a deep technical understanding. He has built a team of academics, engineers and artists from some of the biggest names in cybersecurity and big tech, who have all come together with a single mission to create truly self-sovereign communication that doesn't sacrifice user experience. Data ownership, data security and corporate compliance all play a crucial role in today’s world and our digital communication systems. Due to the current global pandemic, on every continent, companies of all sizes, government bodies and intergovernmental organisations are pivoting towards a digital business model. This inevitably raises many questions, most of which have not been properly addressed: Can they trust third-party apps with their sensitive data? Where is this data stored and is it protected? Who has access to their encryption keys? Can their data be audited? Trust is a common issue when it comes to using third-party apps and this presents a challenge for many companies. Worldr is a fully deployable application with source code that is completely open for our clients’ inspection and due diligence. At Worldr, we set ourselves apart by providing our clients with complete sovereignty over their data; our access to this information is completely barred both technologically and as a matter of principle. Recent events have forced millions of employees to suddenly and unexpectedly cope with an exponential growth in the volume, speed and complexity of their communication data. It is no longer viable to rely on legacy tools which often create bottlenecks and lead to disruptions. Worldr’s compelling UI/UX reduces latency, cognitive load and ensures operational flow so that team members can operate efficiently and effectively even from a distance. We currently have almost 200 companies signed up for our Beta, ranging from small startups to teams within Banks and Consultancies of employees in the 10,000's. We are launching this autumn in the UK, Brazil and Singapore.
