The Indi Water Water System
The proposal is built on three main pillars:
Traffic Alleviation: The primary goal is to introduce a system of water channels and commuter boats to provide an alternative to road transport, thus reducing traffic overflow and vehicle congestion.
Modern Water Transport Network: The project establishes a network of water stations and bays along the coast to facilitate commuter boat travel. The plan includes designs for these harbor/bay stations to create an efficient transport system.
Harnessing the Blue Economy: The initiative recognizes the massive economic potential of Kenya's coastline and aims to contribute to the ocean economy, which is a key area of growth globally.
