CoNSeRT is a West Attica University Lab, comprising a team of Professors, Lecturers, Post Docs, and Junior researchers with expertise in Machine Learning, Computer Networks and Applications, Electronics and Mathematics conducting research and presenting applicable results, through partnerships with Companies and Universities global-wide.

Summary

Background

CONSERT Lab, established in April 2019. It comprises faculty members from the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, alongside young researchers ranging from undergraduate to postgraduate students, PhD candidates, and experienced postdoctoral researchers, in addition to collaborating faculty members. The laboratory's primary objective is to conduct fundamental and applied research within its active fields, supporting teaching, expertise development, and knowledge enhancement on both theoretical and experimental fronts. This entails participation in national and international research projects to foster cooperation and exchange experiences, forming a key funding source. The laboratory also focuses on developing and supporting teaching programs for postgraduate students, providing access to specialized equipment for advanced subjects and thesis preparation. Collaboration with educational and research institutions nationally and internationally is pursued, aligning with shared scientific objectives. Additionally, CONSERT offers specialized consulting and advisory services, prioritizing public sector entities and public utility sectors, fostering academia-industry collaboration and societal benefit, while also serving as a source of income for operational needs and group development. Research within the lab concentrates on designing, programming, and implementing computer and electronic systems networks, services, and applications, with a specific focus on content and data management and movement. Key areas of research and teaching include computer networks and web applications, web-based computer systems communication and applications, intelligent interconnected computing systems, artificial intelligence and deep learning, cloud computing infrastructures and interconnections, and security in internet and cyber-physical systems.
