This automatic access control device is a self-contained fully automatic protection system, with the ability to take offensive steps towards potential attackers Once the system has been activated, a very strong metal arm is moved into place to restrict door movement. This is the primary function of the unit, however when the system determines that it is under serious attack a number of steps are taken to force the attacker to think twice. The first thing an attacker will notice is a loud siren and flashing lights creating awareness that there is a problem. If this does not stop the attacker then a further set of steps can be taken, the first of which could be a spray system covering & staining the attacker with a forensically traceable liquid that is identified using ultraviolet lighting, this liquid fingerprint allows the police to identify an offender and the forensics the ability to place a marked criminal at the scene of an attack. The system can also be configured to contact a local police monitoring station and alert them of a serious attack. The system can also be fitted with video surveillance equipment, allowing the police to have clear video evidence of the attack, although these further steps are to be designed, developed, and added at a later date. So, we have hopefully convinced you that this security system is far more beneficial than other door security products available today and can take substantial offensive steps against the attacker. With all this extra strength is there not a problem with occupants trying to exit the premises in the event of a fire, is one question we have been asked many times. With current door security products people are putting them on overnight, as an extra level of security, this is not a wise move in the event of a fire, as it will slow down the exit of occupants.
