Summary

Background

We are a large Canadian oil and gas producer, looking to accelerate our reclamation activities in Canadian climates.

After oil and gas producing activities are completed, wells and surrounding areas are reclaimed. This includes returning the landscape to conditions that match the surrounding area. We are looking to improve our ability to more frequently monitor the land after reclamation activities have commenced.

Challenge

Monitoring the growth of vegetation from reclamation activities is infrequent, labour intensive and can be difficult to access in remote areas.

We are looking for technologies that can remotely monitor the health and rate of vegetation growth, both discreetly and continuously. We are also looking for technologies that can count and identify species, as well as evaluate soil conditions.

All technologies are welcome, including aerial, satellite, truck mounted, autonomous etc. Can include but not limited to LIDAR, hyperspectral, acoustic, artificial intelligence, etc.
