Summary

Background

We are one of the largest oil and gas producers in the world, who are focused on innovation and bringing environmentally sound solutions to market.

Challenge

There is typically 4-7% CO2 concentration in flue gases coming from combustion of natural gas (methane). This stream is typically decarbonized through the use of an amine system. We are looking for technologies that can reduce the cost of these amine systems, whether it be increases in efficiency related to energy or heat required, or technologies that can increase the kinetics of the CO2 absorption process.

What's in it for you?

A successful collaboration could mean assistance in developing and/or piloting technologies, whether through financial support or via a partnership. We are not interested in owning your IP, we want to see the technology developed faster.

We are willing to collaborate with both individuals/freelancers and other industry participants/universities etc. and solutions can be at any stage of development.

If you have or are developing solutions, or if you have expertise in the above, please click "Apply" to submit your solution/expertise to the Network.
