Summary

Background

At Hammerson, we own flagship destinations around which we can curate and reshape entire neighbourhoods and city centre spaces, with 15 flagships in great locations across UK, France and Ireland.

We create vibrant, continually evolving spaces, in and around thriving cities, where people and brands want to be. We seek to deliver value for all our stakeholders and to create a positive and sustainable impact for generations to come.

Challenge

Hammerson are seeking innovations to improve the visitor and tenant experience within their space - either physical or online. They are seeking to reshape how people interact with their spaces.

This includes improving the neutral spaces that visitors experience while in the destination, ensuring delivery of the best-in-class experience.

 Solutions may be based around:

  • Digital interaction with our visitors (B2C) and occupiers (B2B) within the centre
  • Visitors' experience while in the destination, whether for those looking for the ‘Big day out’ and likely to stay there for longer, or ‘mission shoppers ‘ coming in to buy something and leave
  • Arrival experience (travel and mobility). Make sure our visitors' arrival experience is as easy and enjoyable as possible (car parks, public transport, pedestrians)
  • Deliver best-in-class experience for our occupiers (B2B) and visitors (B2C)
  • Think of questions such as: how will the customer of the future enjoy, and interact within, our destinations?

Any innovations related to mixed use destinations such as retail, catering, leisure, workspace and residential are also welcome.

If your innovation doesn’t fit one of the above criteria, Hammerson would still encourage you to apply.

What's in it for you?

Hammerson are keen to work with companies to test and learn by implementing in one of more of our flagship assets in UK, France or Ireland. Following a successful proof of concept, then we’d be keen to explore further potential and scalability across the portfolio. This may lead to a commercial partnership. We’ll also work closely and provide feedback to help co-develop the product or technology.
