Challenge
We are supporting an SME client in the construction services industry with a specific challenge that it needs to address.
Our client conducts many projects over a year – some are relatively simple requiring a few days effort, some are fairly complex and last 6 months with a multi-million project cost.
Their challenge is to find a solution to manage the projects in conjunction with a flexible CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) approach, which is able to scale from small to larger projects. This would allow them to track project and cost/financial progress in parallel across their portfolio of projects, giving an accrued income position - in effect, finding a way to address day-to-day project management alongside construction accounting.
The solution has to be cost effective, easy to implement and available right now.
