Challenge

We are looking for digital technologies and solutions to help consumers with impairments or disabilities to easily access all the information they need at different stages of the customer journey, wherever they are and however they need it, with the ultimate objective of helping them find the right products for their needs, use them in the right way and achieve their beauty goals.

Technologies of interest could work with our current sources of information (which will meet WGCSO 2.2 standards) or provide access to additional information and digital tools not currently available on our digital channels. Solutions could be of general benefit to all our consumers but should have specific relevance to consumers with disabilities or impairments.

  • We are looking for digital tools which remove barriers to choosing and using beauty products and improve the consumer experience.
  • We are not looking for tools which make our website WGSCO-compliant.
  • We are not currently interested in topical skincare products or technologies that require packaging changes.
  • We are not currently interested in tools which help consumers use beauty products.
  • We are not interested in technologies which help consumers treat their disability or impairment.

Any solution which falls under medical device regulations should already have the relevant registration in place. Solutions would ideally be at least TRL4, i.e. should be at a stage where we can safely test the solution with a consumer panel.
