Summary

Background

Payment data capture, limited in its detail is currently provided via manual capture through direct occupier communications/engagement only, relating purely to monthly and annual turnover. No further granularity is delivered within this base dataset currently.

At Shaftesbury Capital, we would like to expand our existing monthly in arrears manual sales data capture, to an automated and more granular data capture including daily & hourly spend & transactions using an automated solution. This will feed into the data model alongside footfall and other visitor and consumer information and allow for more dynamic analysis of estate activity.

Challenge

Shaftesbury Capital are seeking innovative solutions which capture payment data at a premises level, such as appending additional hardware to existing occupier sales systems or through establishing connectivity mechanism with payment networks.

Ideal applicants will need to provide tech solutions that should report:

  • Reliable & timely premises payment data (i.e. store or restaurant level) for reporting on a periodic basis,
  • Transaction data,
  • Customer data,
  • Demographic data,
  • Behavioural data,
  • Other relevant spend & customer data points.

As such, this base data must represent as close to 100% of actual premises spend as possible whilst also allowing for a granular understanding of transaction level trends. Therefore an ideal solution would also provide a platform for understanding customer spending trends & behaviours.

While the landlord owns the property, the point of sales systems are owned and operated by the occupiers.

What's in it for you?

Work with a UK leading and global landmark estate to build out a data model which will allow enhanced analysis and understanding of occupier performance. This will enable better informed decision making with regards to future occupier decisions and estate activations to the mutual benefit of both the landlord and the occupier.

PLEASE NOTE - this challenge will close on successful sourcing of a solution that meets the requirements of Shaftesbury Capital.
