About the University
KU has a strong tradition of effective technology transfer built on research in such fields as drug development and delivery; education and human development; biosciences, biofuels and bioengineering; information technologies and informatics; and remote sensing. KU Innovation & Collaboration (KUIC) serve the KU faculty, support their research, and guide them by protecting intellectual property, and helping them launch businesses if that is their desire. KUIC are custodians of the trust bestowed on KU by corporate partners, foundation and institutional grants, and the government that supports our endeavors.
