The University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) is committed to becoming nationally recognized for its research. UMKC is a core member of the regional life sciences consortium and continues to construct new research laboratories, hire top quality faculty, identify, promote, and establish disease-defined centers of excellence, and enlarge our research infrastructure. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research - Office of Research Services (ORS) is a core element of the university's research infrastructure. Our mission is to support the scientific, scholarly, and creative endeavors of the faculty and staff at UMKC.
