The Chirrup.ai platform consists of bioacoustic monitors, a birdsong-recognition AI algorithm and a user-friendly web-app.
Our platform is optimised for food businesses, suppliers and farmers, as well as other landholders, who are seeking science-based, benchmarkable biodiversity indicators.
The platform also provides insights into the natural assets, nature based services, and management changes which affect these, throughout the food supply chain.
We have monitored hundreds of farms - pasture, arable, mixed, and other livestock - throughout the UK, Ireland and Netherlands.
We're supported by Defra / Innovate UK as a cost effective method of monitoring the 70% of the UK which is private farmland.
We have also been nominated for the Earthshot Prize in 2025.
