I did my PhD on carbohydrates and their modification with enzymes.

After that I joined Novozymes/Novonesis, a global biotech company, an worked as a scientist developing Biosolutions for the F&B space. My job was to coordinate projects form idea to launch and to make sure the solution worked in the food application. I worked with many application types such as brewing, plant based dairy, protein functionalization, grain processing, umami flavour, baking etc.

In my last 3 years I was part of starting a new business unit called Functional Foods where I both launched products and developed the pipeline and connecting consumer insights with products to health benefits to foods applications.
