I am a dedicated, hard working and responsible professional committed to the enhancement of food safety throughout the food processing, manufacturing and retail sectors. I have a wide range of experience through food manufacture and enforcement which has equipped me with an unrivalled perspective on food safety issues, along with the ability to ensure consumer safety whilst maintaining commercial viability. My particular passion for training and the development of innovative courses led to me being named the Society of Food Hygiene Technology's Trainer of the Year in 2011. I work extensively with stakeholders in our industry including SOFHT (Vice-Chair & Training Services Director), Campden BRI where I chair one of the Member Interest Groups and sit on the Scientific & Technical Committee and the Anaphylaxis Campaign on the Corporate Panel. I am member of the IFST COVID-19 Advisory Panel assessing and advising the food industry on the management and mitigation of the impact of SARS-CoV-2.
