Preriit Souda has almost a decade of experience in advanced data analytics and strategic insights. He began his career with a brief stint in academic research in Texas, USA, followed by a tenure at a startup in Mumbai, India. Subsequently, he worked with TNS India for 2 years, where he handled clients in India, Middle East & Asia Pacific. In his most recent at Kantar (Part of the WPP Group in UK), he worked with clients across Europe, China, Middle-East among other locations for a period of 5.5 years. Preriit Souda was a Director: Data Science at Kantar, one of the biggest market insight companies in the world and part of WPP group. He was instrumental in developing one of the most advanced Data Science departments within Kantar. During his stint, his team went from him being the only consultant to a department of 10, a period in which his team won some of the most coveted awards in Market Research and Insights. Preriit has helped organizations answer different strategic questions by unraveling explicit and implicit human expression through mining of social and digital data alongside other data sources like consumer surveys, IoT data, CRM data, mobile behavioral data, weather data and locational data. He has provided real-time analysis of industrial actions, reaction to public TV shows, impact of negative PR and cyber-attacks for different public sector organizations. His work in the commercial domain has helped develop new products, track brand reputation, refine marketing campaigns among others.
